SARASOTA, FL, July 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- When is the deadline? The deadline to register for the cruise is August 1st. Time is running out on this one of a kind, Alaskan adventure. There are only 14 cabins left. Will you be cruising with us? This 7-day cruise aboard Norwegian cruise lines, is designed for Parkinson's disease patients, caregivers and their families, and will provide a series of seminars and lectures about this disease as well as the opportunity to share some of the most amazing views in America.

The Parkinson Research Foundation has designed a specifically unique and enticing one of a kind, educational seminar unlike anything you have ever seen. The cruise will offer mini-seminars and classes including dance therapy which offers emotional and physical benefits to patients. There will also be sessions in voice aerobics coupling innovative exercises that strengthen vocal chords, allowing patients to manage changes in speech and swallowing. The program for the cruise will include presentations by prominent Parkinson's disease physicians and clinicians, Dr. Juan Sanchez-Ramos, Mary Spremulli, Dr. Kathleen Clarence-Smith, and Dr. Tom Chase etc. Patients and their caregivers can also participate in support group meetings, exercise classes and wellness seminars.
